Stroller Features
The most effective strollers have features that allow you to travel with your child easier. Look for features that simplify life, such as a large storage bin, parent tray with cups holders, adjustable canopy and more when you are shopping for the latest stroller. It's important to determine which features are essential for you and your family members and those you can live without.

This jogging stroller comes with a fold that requires just two steps. It locks into place when folded, and is small enough to fit into most elevators. It's not as easy than our other four-wheel strollers, and the locking mechanism can be somewhat difficult to understand. It involves pressing a button near the foot area on the front of stroller, and then lifting the handle. We'd like to see a simpler system that simply clicks into the position or opens when pulled.

However, a lot of parents find that strollers with lighter weights are more maneuverable and more suitable for use in everyday situations.
The size and type of the wheels is an important feature. 3 wheeler pushchair have larger wheels, like jogging ones which makes the ride easier for your baby. However, larger wheels also increase the overall weight of the stroller which can make it difficult to fold, transport, and store.
Some models in our selection include air-filled tires that are designed to provide a comfortable and stable ride for your child even over rough terrain. Air-filled tires are more prone to flattening and will need to replace them. If you intend to take your stroller with you often, we suggest that you choose a model with solid wheels. They can be able to withstand contact with various surfaces more frequently and last longer.

Three-wheeled strollers are able to maneuver easily in tight spaces such as grocery store aisles or other crowded areas. Many also come equipped with suspension systems that give a more comfortable ride for your little one which is especially helpful on bumpy sidewalks.
The Guava Roam is a light stroller that can be used for jogging. The stroller is elegant and can be used as a part of a travel system with car seat adapters to fit Nuna, MaxiCosi, Cybex, and Nuna infant carseats, as well as the Uppababy Bassinet. The seat isn't flat when it reclines and there's no cupholders or snack trays for kids. The brakes can also be difficult to engage and the handlebars can be too high for some moms.
The Graco Fastaction stroller is designed to be as lightweight as it is possible, but without the comfort or convenience. It has a long list of impressive features, such as a large basket and a single-handed fold. The only downside is that the brakes could be a bit difficult to engage and do not remain locked when the stroller is folded.
Stroller Safety
A stroller's safety features should assist in keeping your child secure during use. Some of the best-scoring models in our test have a five-point harness with padded, adjustable crotch straps that allow for a customized fit. Others come with a cushioned seat cushion to protect your child's head should they fall out of the seat or roll off. Some strollers have a safety brake that locks two wheels. This is essential for strollers that run jogging since it prevents them from flipping over when they're going up and down stairs or escalators, which can be particularly dangerous for children.
In our tests, we evaluated the strollers' maneuverability in three different ways: a product's ability to bounce and turn over dips and bumps, its ability to maneuver when loaded with children and its capability to traverse rough terrain. We found that strollers with 3 wheels were more maneuverable, but the advantage decreased as the weight of the baby increased. This is why we suggest choosing a model that has a hand brake that assists you in slowing down and come to a stop with as little effort as relying on body power alone. Many of the top-scoring, swivel-wheel strollers do not come with this feature. Only one of our top-rated fixed-wheel strollers has it.
It's important to consider the frequency that you will need to take your stroller on a set of stairs or an escalator, and whether or not it's safe to do it while the stroller is in its place. Stairs and elevators can be more risky because they contain moving mechanical parts which make it difficult to control your stroller. If you are able choose to, we suggest using an elevator or having an adult assist you with the stroller. Some of the most highly-rated strollers can be pushed up an escalator or a set of stairs. an escalator, with their safety brake locked and engaged but it's always safer to be safe than sorry.
